i have been driving from howell, mi to canton, mi for 3 years for these special orders of marvel and dc die-cast figures special ordered through comic city.
Comic City is the best comic shop in Metro Detroit because they consistently stock a huge selection of current comics and graphic novels. The stores are full of comic goodness, including toys and statues, without being cluttered and their pull system is terrific. The staff, particularly Jen, at the Pontiac store are always helpful and often have great recommendations based on your buying habits. They will also order or transfer anything they can from other stores. The owners and staff are also passionate, funny and willing to put up with silly questions from all kinds of geeks!
By far the best staff in the area! Always full of information and they don't make you feel like you are "bothering them" like most comic book stores do.
Great service. Will check their other stores for stock. Will pull and hold comics for you. Best of all, for me they do refunds and exchanges with receipt when I buy a duplicate for my kids.
