Anita's Kitchen

We're competing for the best Middle Eastern.
Tell your friends to vote for Anita's Kitchen.
In 1981, Pierre & Anita Farah set out to share the exciting flavors of their homeland, Lebanon. By following a simple formula of using only the freshest ingredients, the Farah family, and Anita's Kitchen, has proudly been serving the finest Lebanese cuisine for over 25 years. With their first restaurant located within Tally Hall in Farmington Hills, and the addition of a second location in Troy, Pierre & Anita pioneered restaurant service of Lebanese food in the suburban Detroit area. What started out as nothing more than an idea in
their small kitchen on Drayton Street here in Ferndale, has come full circle in to the restaurants we are today.
We are glad to be part of your community & glad to be home!

This is the best place for Middle Eastern food. The decor is modern , yet quaint. The outdoor area shaded and comfy, and the service is always friendly and fun. But the real star here.. is the FOOD. Personal faves, the fired Kibbeh, the stuffed grape leaves, and the Lentils, with Spinach and Goat cheese. Order any lamb entree and you'll swoon, I promise. But you must finish with a wonderfully healthy fresh fruit smoothie. Anita's is my first choice now for Middle Eastern Food.

If you actually want authentic Middle Eastern food, I would NOT go to Anita's Kitchen. They are overpriced for the amount of food they give, and it's not even that good. Places to go for REAL Middle Eastern food would be Beirut Palace in Royal Oak and Sahara in Oak Park, right in the same area.

Good food, reasonable price, great staff, it's not a replacement for La Shish, but it'll do,

My favorite place to eat! I missed Anita's when I moved from the Clawson area so I was thrilled when they added the Ferndale location. The freshest, high quality food.
