Big Ben's Comix has been serving the Downriver area since 1984. We started out as the Book Bank, transformed into Comix Oasis, and are now Big Ben's Comix.
We're one of the largest stores in Michigan for comic books and comic book related merchandise. We have an enormous stock of "back issue" comics. Over 150 boxes filled to the max with comics! (Heads up, each box holds abut 250 comics... you do the math). If you're looking for that one obscure issue of Batman, we probably have it.
If you're looking for trade paperbacks (collected stories from a comic series) you've probably found the store with the largest selection in Downriver. We have almost any "trade" that you could dream of, an inventory that would make both Border's and Barnes and Noble jealous. If you're interested in a good read, please stop on by.
We also have a large supply of action figures, statues, busts, posters, t-shirts, and role-playing games. We also buy comic collections, so if you're looking to get rid of some of your stuff we're always more than willing to take a look.

His new store at 6711 Allen Road, Allen Park is state of the art, clean, organized, and a nice place to buy collectibles. Also a great and knowledgable staff!!

honestly, the only comic shop in SE Michigan with friendly customer service and a GIANT selection. I drive past 3 other stores just to go to this one every week. can't say enough good things about them.

Best comix store around hands down, been going to these guys for over 15 years now & find them to be the friendliest, most helpful & best selection of comics new & old around. Also best selection of new/old collectibles, toys, statues, busts, mini figures, posters, neon signs, key chains, t-shirts and whatever else comic related you can think of.

Big Ben's Comics is by far the Best comic shop in the state of Michigan.
I have visted all of the comic shops that are up for this vote and none of them are in the same class as Big Ben's Comics Oasis.
I have been a regular weekly customer at this shop for the past 12 years.
Ben and Gary go above and beyond the normal dealer/ customer business relationship with their customers. Most dealers in these hard times do not care about people who come in every week only about making a quick buck, by this I am saying alot of the other shops that are up for this vote would rather sell their rare or variant covers on E-bay rather then give the people who are loyal weekly shoppers a chance to buy them.
Big Ben's Comics always offers anything they buy to the Customers First !!!
They really do care about the people who come in week to week and treat them just like family.
If you have never been to Big Ben's Comics Oasis I highly Recommend you check it out for yourself, it's worth the trip.

Great shop. Personalized assistance. Alot of variety. Bunch of good guys there that always make it a pleasant shopping experiance. Watch out for Gary though. Sometimes wonder if he has turrets. (just kidding Gary...love ya....just not that way) My son loves going in there also. He's 6, so Gary and he get along great.

I love this place soooo much. There is no one nicer than Ben and Gary. They help me out with any comic problem ever! If theres one store that deserves praise its Big Bens Comix!

Big Bens is the BEST!!! THey have soo much stuff floor to cieling. Staff is such a great help and is definitely surpasses any other comic book store in SE Michigan! They have everything here. I would refer them to anyone.

Big Ben's is the shizzle! Gary and Ben are very friendly and always helpful. They give 20% of all new titles!! They have a huge selection of Back issues and their TPB collection is humongus! Definitely my favorite store in MICHIGAN. I love BIg Ben's Comix!!!
