Boogie Fever salutes the funky 70s and flashes back to the 80s. The sprawling 892 person cpacity covering 11,000 square feet is one of Metro Detroit's largest nightclubs. Boogie Fever features cutting-edge sound, video and lighting with multiple bars and a "Saturday Night Fever lighted dance floor."
Come and party under the mirror balls and shake it to the hits of the 70s and 80s on our lit dance floor. Ah yes, it's boogie time at Boogie Fever Ferndale.
Yes, Boogie Fever is the only club where the 25 to 50 year olds come to play! Around the stroke of midnight we send the old folks home and the 21 to 49 year olds take over! It's a sight to see. Sorry...No aarp cards are accepted or credit cards, but we do have an atm inside the club.
The best 70's and 80's variety in a great venue. I love how not only do you hear great tunes, but they even have three screens that come down out of the ceiling and play the videos to boot. Gotta love Boogie Fever.
Would've had a great time here if I wasn't so creeped out that they took pictures of your ID when you entered. Love the retro scene, but will not return as long as they continue such a practice.
I don't recommend it. Putting aside the Orwellian invasion of your privacy by taking a picture of your ID at the entrance (Yes, this is legal.), their beer selection leaves a lot to be desired. No "exotic" beers on tap (I drink Sam Adams), and mixed drinks are weakly made and served in plastic cup. Music is what I should have expected: mostly stupid disco. Large dance floor, though. If you're over 40 and like to dance, I guess this is the place for you. If you're young enough to have a pulse, it's lame. Better off at the Post, or drive out to Pontiac (Tiki Bob's).
