I usually don't respond to comments on things like this - but I can't be quiet on the negative comments about Central City Dance. Our family has been involved with CCDC for several years now - our experience has been a wonderful one. From the front desk staff, teachers and owners of the studio - all are dedicated to making your child's dance experience the best ever. You are probably thinking that I am saying this because I am in the "in crowd" (as some people on here have referenced). But there is no such thing as an "in crowd" or "favorites" at CCDC. Every student is treated fairly and receive the same opportunities. That being said - you may think your child has "IT" but in reality not everyone is made to be the 'star' dancer. Sure some students seem to be chosen for more "special parts" but those are truly well deserved to those students. Tim, Tammy and the rest of the staff do not make these decisions lightly - time, effort, and alot of consideration is taken in choosing the right student for the right dance. (As a parent who has had more than one student at CCDC - not all of my children have been chosen for special parts.) Dance is like any other "sport" you get out what you put into it. In life everyone isn't always the chosen one - help your child find what they do best and lead them in that direction. But, if your child, loves to dance LET THEM DANCE - and do not make the experience a bad one for them. Our children look to us to be examples - and will act they way they see their parents acting. Take the time to see that Tim and Tammy care not only for your child as a dancer but also for your child as a person. I have seen countless times Tim, Tammy, the other teachers and the front desk staff take an interest in the families of CCDC outside of just dancing. To the people making the negative comments - do the right thing and do not use this forum as a way to get your grudge out - speak directly to Tim & Tammy - they are always willing to listen. My last comment is to Tim & Tammy - thank you for allowing my family to be a part of CCDC - it is where we want to be.

I just registered for the yoga class. Sat down with the owner and she talked me through everything. Easy as pie. Can't wait to get started. Good luck on your contest. You should do great.

I truly enjoyed having the staff and students from Central City Dance at our regional competition this year. They displayed wonderful sportmanship, and the dancers are fantastic. Hope to see you again this year.
I signed up for the adult hip hop with Mr. Tim last summer. I ended up taking the class all year and performed at Relay for Life and then the recital. I'm so happy that they offer classes for us adults too. It is a lot of fun. I'm signing up again this fall.
I enrolled my daughter into the preschool project program and we are more then pleased with teachers and training. At the end of the year my daughter Emma received a trophy during her preschool graduation. She can't wait to come back. Thank you Ms. Ashley
I always held CCD in the highest regard. I followed the owners from a different studio because I believed in what they were doing. Although my children no longer dance, I always felt a closeness to the staff, I volunteered for almost everything I could, I worked recitals & rehearsals. I wished my daughter was still performing, she was an AWESOME TAPPER!! Wow...if what was said is true it saddens me to hear how things have changed. That's not the CCD I remember, my children performed on 2 cruises with the studio and they got rave reviews. A teacher can make a world of difference in a child's life and if that memory is a negative one it can never be repaired but if it is a positive one it will be remembered for a life time.
Central City what can i say. It is always my favoite place to be. Tim and Tammy care about EVERYONE at the studio. They treat everyone very well.
Tim and Tammy are great teachers great dancers and great choreographers. they bring in other master choreographers to make all of us better dancers. In the real dance world you will have to do other peoples choreography. It wont always the same style that your teachers have taught u at your studio. thats why haveing master teachers come in and going to conventions is important. If you dont have people coming in at other studio then ask you teachers.
I want to thank Tim, Tammy and all the other staff members for all the great times and all of the oportunities that they give us.
Every time i go to the studio and walk in the front door i see all the people that i want to be around. It is a great feeling.
I definetly recomend Central City. It is a grea environment to be in.
