My husband and I had our wedding at Crystal Gardens last Sunday and we could not have been more satisfied with every aspect of their service... from the setup... to the constant communication.... to the friendliness of the staff.... to the generosity of their time and facilities. Everything was exactly as planned, if not better. There were items that I forgot to bring to the wedding that they supplied to me last minute, no charge! This is truly a place that puts the couple first... not the establishment!! Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and the service. The inside and outside of the facility is amazing and wonderful for photos. Florence is the sweetest gal around. Ask for her when booking if you want to have a great experience. I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to Crystal Gardens. Highly recommended. Use their beautiful chapel as well for your ceremony, it is gorgeous.

Ahh….Home of the Downriver Package!!!! Living in the area, I’ve been here quite a bit attending and standing up in weddings.
The pro’s: The place is nicely appointed, the staff does do a good job and I’ve never had a bad meal there.
The Cons: Cookie cutter wedding, SHARED LOBBY, limited package choices. The biggest drawback is the lobby. You better hope Dr. Ed’s annual rump shakin contest doesn’t book next door, because you’ll not only hear the sound in your room, but your guest will also mingle with them in the lobby. There was a very sketchy reception next to my friends wedding, really uncomfortable, the experience stuck out as did having to wait in line to use the stair case for pictures. They also have some bad DJs there, seem to hire them really young, but that isn’t unique I guess. My friend said the package was limited to who he could choose, and it wasn’t worthwhile to get the credit back for picking someone else or something.
In general, if you want a nice spot, good food, reasonable price, but at the cost of having a cookie cutter wedding, and rolling the dice on your evening’s neighbors, this is your place.
