David Wachler, born in 1900, apprenticed in jewelry design in Germany. He moved to Detroit, Michigan and started his business in 1922. Originally, Wachler manufactured custom designed jewelry, sold his jewelry and diamonds directly to the jewelry trade.

As David joined forces with his two sons Norman and Jeff, David Wachler & Sons changed from a company, which catered to the wholesale trade, into one which sold directly to the public.

Norman's son Buzz and Jeff's sons Link & Gary are the third generation which handles day to day operations of the family business. Today eight members encompassing four generations of the Wachler family are directly involved in the business. A customer can deal with David Wachler & Sons and be assured that a member of the family will always be available to assist them.

My fiance got my engagement ring from David Wachler's and I LOVE IT!!!!!! They helped him specially create it and it could not be more beautiful! We loved the ring so much and the service that we got my wedding band from there too! We live in Birmingham, so whenever I want my ring cleaned I just drop it off and they are so nice to do it for me! The day before my wedding they told me to drop off the rings and they polished and cleaned them extra special for me! We will for sure be purchasing more jewelry from there in the future!
