Davison Coney Island started in 1945 at Davison & Linwood in Detroit. The big move to 9 Mile & Coolidge in Oak Park came in 1971. Generations have eaten countless Coneys! That's what makes us "An Oak Park Tradition." We get folks everyday from out of town/state that say they just HAD to come by for a visit...they can't find anything like Davison where they live. The menu has changed a bit over the years. It's hard to choose between the gotta-have-it Chicken Greek salad, the huge pita sandwiches & the classic Coney Island hot dogs. Davison's chili is a special blend of two brands, resulting in less grease and more flavor! If you like homemade soups, you have to come by and try one of 6-8 homemade varieties daily! We enjoy serving our loyal customers and new faces alike. We look forward to seeing you soon!!

Best coney in the D- this coney have a alot of specials i luv, chicken bacon club and my favorite the big j breakfasts sandwich it comes on rye bread, eggs, sausage patties and crispy bacon and cheese with mayo- this sandwich is 1 of the crowd favorites and its name after me big j sandwich so if you havent tryed it, you better not wait because big j eats at davison all day

I took my 6 yr old grandaughter to the restaurant after leaving the clothing store and she loved it. She is still asking to return!

My sister recently hooked me up to this great place. Fantastic food, fantastic owners/staff, and clean, clean, clean!! Their homemade soups change often and are absolutely delicious!

I been a customer of Davison for over 10 years.never have i been dissatified with my order. The food is great, service is very good , food always cooked the way I like it,and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get my food. Davison Coney Island gets my vote .

They are the absolute best in the Metro Detroit Area! Their chili is to die for and their salads are all made to order. The best spinach pie in town too. Have a piece of their home made cake. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you really cannot go wrong when you eat there. The staff is amazing too.

They have absolutely the best Greek Dressing anywhere. The Tzatziki is also outstanding. The burgers are always good and the salads are always fresh. They have a great menu. I have been going to Davidson for over 20 years. Sammy, Krista and the gang are top notch.

They have the best coney dogs. I have been eating at their establishment for over 30 years. No one makes a coney like they do. Their staff is always friendly and always the same people.

The food is great, of course, but what is extraordinary is the service. it is a rare occasion to witness such a team of folks work so well together. to watch them as they prepare the orders, from the wait staff to the cashier, and especially the cooks, is to witness a finely tuned orchestra at its best.

I from Detroit and live in Cincinnati I really miss the taste of Coney Island hotdogs and chilli . When I went to Davison Cpney Island it felt like home and the chilli was so good so thick and meaty. When I come back to Detroit my first stop will be at Davison Coney Island.

It's one of the oldest Coney Islands around. It is my top two Coney Places besides the very first in Detroit. My family's been coming here since the 70's. Best Chillies

I was in search of an amazing grilled chicken salad and in general conversation Davison Coney Island was suggested by Desz. The salad was fresh and very good. I am addicted.
