The Detroit Martial Arts Institute is the ultimate contemporary training facility. Its 7500 square feet facility makes it one of the largest martial arts facilities in Detroit.
We instruct Authentic Okinawan Isshinryu Karate to adults, teens and children. Our after school program provides transportation and provides tutors to assist our students prior to their martial arts classes. We also have a wonderful martial arts summer camp that develops rock solid kids . We build confidence, self-esteem, self-control and courage to all of our students. My son is a student. He's been with D.M.A.I since he was 4 year's old.(Little Dragons) Now he's a green belt. Im a single Mother. D.M.A.I brought out thing I couldnt bring out as a single mother. The Teacher's there are the best. I love them so. So does my son. D.M.A.I helped my son with his self control, self defense,discipline,and so much more. Come check them out!! They'll be happy to see you.
