The veterinarians and staff at Gasow Veterinary Hospital have been providing the best care for pets in the Birmingham area since 1933. Dr. Frederick H. Gasow founded the hospital in 1933 and Dr. Douglas Brooks purchased the hospital in 1993. During the last seven decades, the hospital has gone through numerous changes and grown from a one-veterinarian practice to a nine-vet hospital serving hundreds of clients. We provide state-of-the-art veterinary medicine and technology for your pet, but our focus is on old-fashioned, experienced veterinary care.

They are one of the best caring vets I have known. When my sister's dog was dying of cancer (as well as she), they went the extra mile to help out. They treated my sister specially for trying to deal with her own demise as well as her dog's. I will never forget what they did for both of them.

I love Dr Carter and Dr reynolds at Gasow. I know I get the best care for my animals when I take them to those Drs. I like the rest of the vets there also but I try to see either Dr Reynolds or Dr Carter. Dr Carter treated my dog for cancer in Feb and she did surgery on him and did an excellent job. She also reffered us to an excellent oncloigist in Canton. They really care for the pups in their care and I feel very comefortable taking my animals to them. My animals are my babies and they can't speak so I want to make sure I am taking them to the best place I can.

Years of experience, variety of doctors, nice facility, extended hours. We've been taking all of our pets to Gasow for almost 25 years!

I have been going to Gasow Veterinary Hospital for 21 years. they have always been excleelent and, when the time comes that your pet passes on, they have sympathy that is sincere.
