When I first walked in the door at the House of Yoga, I felt very welcome even though I was just a beginner. Abbey and Dave and all the teachers bring some a wonderful energy to all that they do.

House of Yoga is a nice warming space with great teachers and relaxing classes.
It's located in downtown Berkley so its very convenient to walk to a restaurant or a hair salon or any other place in down town Berkley.

House of Yoga is a great yoga studio with a positive and organic atmosphere that exceeds all others. I have frequented several yoga studios in Detroit and House of Yoga remains my top choice. It's a great neighborhood studio with warm and welcoming instructors. :)

The House of Yoga community exudes a warmth and friendliness that makes one immediately feel at home- very close knit without being cliquish.
The teachers of HoY are no less incredible, having that special ability to connect with the student and capture the essence of the moment.

Abby and Dave have committed themselves to creating a space that is tranquil, Warm, And accepting. They continually look for new ways to bring people in and share the yoga journey, Whether it's through offering teacher training, New classes and workshops, Or opening the studio each month for satsang. As teachers, They are nurturing and interested in each student, Providing guidance that is encouraging and safe. House of Yoga has become a place that allows me to step outside of the world and visit the deepest parts of my internal landscape. It provides one of the most supportive communities I've experienced and it is a pleasure to practice there. Thank you, Dave and Abby, For investing so much of yourselves.

I like House of Yoga because the teachers there care about every person that walks in the door. This isn't big business yoga. They have a sincere desire to help everyone that comes through the door and they make everyone feel like part of the home and community that they are trying to cultivate.
