Ike's family Dining has been in business since June of 1991. Ike's is located on the southeast corner of 17 mile and van Dyke. Ike El-Alam, owner and the "Hands-on" proprietor of this family owned business, has always taken pride in serving authentic and traditional Lebanese dishes as well as American, Greek, and Italian.

Well anyone who has ever dined at IKE'S knows the food is amazing!!! But did you know that his family works there also? His wife Roxanna is the beautiful hostess you see there on any given evening. His beautiful daughter Natalie, also a hostess, is there as well. Now what can I say about his son Andrew? This young man is not your average teen, he is the most well mannered, friendly natured person I've ever come across! He always treats everyone SPECIAL and leaves you with a good warm feeling. So if you have been to IKE'S you know what I mean when I say it's a elegent "family" experience. Ike himself takes pride, he greets guest, comes around to each individual table, and still prepares meals!! His wiat staff are exceptional, Kristi, Laura, Angie just to name a few, but not to single out anyone are fabulous! The greek dressing is homemade...my favorite, on the salad. But the greek spinich pie is out of this world!!! I will continue to drive an hour to get to IKE'S, it's the best experience!!!!
I would recommend Ike's restaurant, because of their great food and service. One employee in particular, is the host Andrew El-Alam. I have never seen an employee as devoted to his work as Andrew. Some of the many characteristics that Andrew has that makes him deserving of this review, is how kind he treats each and every customer, who comes through the door. Speaking from personal experience, I thought I was a celebrity or other person of importance, while talking with him. Another remarkable attribute that Andrew has, that makes him stand out from the rest of Ike's employees, is how when he works, you can tell that he enjoys his job, he is not just another employee, that you can tell hates his job, who mumbles when he talks to you, or has a hostile attitude towards you. Now i could sit here and keep telling you about Andrew's character, and how devoted he is to his job, or you could go one night with your family to Ike's restaurant, and see how good the food is there for yourself, and when you see Andrew, make sure to send a smile his way.
Ike's is a wonderful place for a family to enjoy a nice evening together. My kids love it and so does my husband. This place is by far the best Middle Eastern food around. I love how Ike goes to your table and makes sure everything is well tasting. I would give this place an A++. Outstanding.
Ike's has the BEST chicken kabobs, lebneh with garlic and hommous around.... Ike is ALWAYS friendly and makes his way around to greet the customers. A wonderful family atmosphere and fantastic food!
As a lebanese, i found ike's middle eastern atmosphere a trip down memory lane, back to my childhood where my mother would cook her infamous middle eastern cuisines
