Brett Kuhnhenn says there is a long tradition of selling brewing supplies out of hardware stores. But he began selling the product not to revive an ancient tradition but out of necessity. He and his brother started selling the supplies after encountering the frustration of not being able to buy products locally. "We thought, why do we have to drive to buy supplies? Why don't we just sell them ourselves," he recalled.

Great, experienced master brewers who are also willing to share info and help educate you. Awesome beers. Very different and experimental beers balanced with the tried & true. Great atmosphere and FREE popcorn.
It's really just a brew, not a pub in my opinion. But you go to a place like this for the beer! The closest beer to real German bier I've ever had outside of Deutschland! The Oktoberfest is the same as Munich's. And the Heifeweizen is pretty close.
Brett and Eric know what they are doing...we have so much fun here and the beer is the best!!!! Anyone who loves microbrew and hasn't tried Kuhnhenn is missing out!!!!!
