I grew up in the NW Detroit neighborhood, and walked to Lou's on Roselawn and McNicols weekly. I live in LIvonia now, and I can honestly tell you, there isn't a Corn Beef Sandwich in the Metro Detroit area that stacks up to Lou's Deli. I have been a parton since the 1970's

I've been visiting Lou's since I was kid. The 6 mile location is the best, I do visit the 9 mile location, but I always go running back to 6 mile. Everything is wonderful, the pineapple upside down cake, to the Dinty Moore on Onion Roll.... Ask for a Super Duper, its worth the extra bucks, and you'll have some to carry you over to the next day.... or at least to the night, if your a pig like me.....

I won't eat any other corned beef sandwich but one from Lou's Deli!!! Love that Roselawn Corned Beef, that's the one with the coleslaw. I've been going there since 1972, at the original one on McNichols.

6 mile location my favorite. Consistently great sandwiches. Organized fast service. Also features salads and desserts.

I've been eating at Lou's Deli all my life. I can remember coming here with my Dad in the early 1960's. Now I bring my children. Lou's has the best corned beef sandwich in the city, ber none!
