There's nothing fancy about this beloved pizza palace. The foyer is festooned with a garland of empty Chianti bottles, an indicator of the good time to come. Tiny plastic-covered tables are shoved together, so conversation flows among the diners, mostly families looking for a night out. The menu is full of reasonably priced Italian favorites, but most choose the antipasto salad, Loui's crusty pizza and a glass of red wine for toasting.

Loui's is not only the best pizza in the state of Michigan it also has some amazing staff. The ladies of Loui's are the real deal in the world of waitressing and hosting. Their no BS attitude,genuine smiles,humor and appropriately placed sarcasm are a great addition to an already great dining experience. This place is food for soul, with its down to earth decor and warm ambience it is no wonder they pack em in Weds through Sunday. I eat there every other weekend and have never had a bad experience. I have even ventured away from the pizza and tried other items on the menu and have been more than pleased. This is the King of Pizza run by Queens.

For over 25 years I have gone to Loui's for pizza. I have been to other pizza places but none comes close to the pizza, staff and just the place itself. Good Luck Loui.
