Since 1997, Lunchtime Detroit has been committed to bringing you variety, excellence and quality every lunchtime; Monday thru Saturday (and any day of the week for your special catered event). As a result of our commitment to serving you the best, demand for special event catering has grown.

In order to meet this demand Lunchtime Detroit has expanded its' catering operations by joining with the talents of P.M. Caterers. For details click on the CATERING link and explore your options.

Chef/Owner Steven Delidow brings over 20 years of culinary experience, including several years of travel throughout Europe and Israel, to create a unique sandwich, salad and soup menu featuring all fresh, top-quality ingredients.

All sandwiches are served on your choice of our in-house, daily baked Focaccia Bread, French or wheat rolls or sun-dried tomato lavash. All salads are made fresh daily, including our six varieties of outstanding SOUP.

If you need a head start on your lunch decision, check your E-mail. Our delicious soup specials menu can be sent to you every morning before we open.

Our crew, lead by Front Manager Dana (New Center location) and Shanita (Downtown location), is courteous and quick serving your food promptly so you can continue your day without missing a step. In addition, our crew will be happy to answer any QUESTIONS or concerns that you may have in order to make your lunchtime unique at Lunchtime Detroit.

I used to work here, the staff and the food are just outstanding! Even though I no longer work there I still go back for the great eats and laughs!

I know we're talking sandwiches here, which theirs are great...but you have to try their soup. The African Peanut and Thai Shrimp are fantastic!

Menu is creative, delicious, and fresh. Customer satisfaction is guaranteed. The service is fast and friendly, even when the line is out the door. The prices are excellent. The best overall lunch experience in Downtown Detroit by far.

The food is always fresh, prepared using quality ingredients, and the menu features a variety of innovative sandwiches, soups and salads to satisfy both meat lovers AND vegetarians/vegans. The Cape Cod Bistro Salad is my favorite! Or maybe the African Peanut Soup or Chicken Wild Rice Soup . . . no, wait, it's the Michigan Cherry Chicken Salad Sandwich with a slice of cheddar on foccaica. Or . . . it's all good! Checf Steve and his staff excel at customer satisfaction, and are open to suggestions for new menu items.

They make your sandwiches or salads exactly the way you ask. They are prepared fresh when you walk in the door. Their employees are very personable and courteous. As you walk in, you are immediately welcomed. You are able to try any soups that they make fresh daily. If there is a soup you would like Chef Steve to make, it is guaranteed it will be on the menu within the next day or so. Lunchtime Detroit takes the time to know their customer and shows their appreciation. I have recommended so many people there. If someone has not experience their food, I always make it a point of telling them to try it. I am not a sandwich eater. But since going there, they have changed my mind. Fresh bread daily. Everything is so fresh and filling. The prices are the best around.

Their soups and sandwiches are wonderful and very well priced. Also, they let you taste a soup before purchasing it to see if you like it. Their service is wonderful as well.
