The staff at Mabelena's has always been so helpful and kind whenever I go in there. The knowledge that they provide is outstanding and I would highly recommend that anyone travel to Ortonville to visit this fabulous quilt shop!
Brenda and her crew have always made me feel more like a friend than a customer. They're willing to help with any sewing project; making me feel as if I'm their only customer no matter how busy they are. Going to Mabelena's is like going home. Comfortable!!!!
It's so hard to put into words why Mabelena's is so wonderful. It's not just the people and the atmosphere; it's a feeling of being at home. No matter how long I'm away, when I come back, I feel as though I've never left. Brenda Heffernan is a phenomenal woman. She and her employees have an uncanny sense of what I need (sometimes even before I do!) I'm not a traditional quilter; however, I can find everything I need here. It has to been seen to be believed!
The staff is so helpful and friendly. The classes are amazing and my teacher, Brenda, was so patient and taught me step by step! Prices are great and there is a huge selection of fabric! I would highly recommend Mabelena's!
