Maria's Italian Bakery is a great independent store. She prepares delicious baked goods, ready- to- eat foods, and bake- at- home meals such as lasagna and pizza. The store has deli meats and cheese which they slice expertly. She has many loyal customers because people are never disappointed with the quality of her merchandise and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoy the cannoli, sugar cookies with royal icing, fresh bread and chicken salad made with mayo! Friday night pizza from Maria's is family favorite.
Maria's has the best cookies in the world especially her butter cookies. She also has the best Italian food and I love her pizza. I also love her giant chocolate muffins.

If you are looking for real authentic Italian eats and someone who knows what they are talking about, you need to viskit Maria's Italian Bakery. She is straight from the homeland as are many of her recipes and foods. Real prosciutto, homemade cannolis like mamma use to do, stromboli as big as your head, and fresh homemade pastas like gnocchi, lasagna, ravioli.....santo cielo!!!! This place rocks and not only does it deliver on the authentic Italian foods, she has that old world charm and love for food. Great food, great people and definately the best value for the money. Maria's Bakery has the best bake good's I have every eaten!! My holiday table is always filled with her homemade bread, cookies and pastries. I also enjoy all of her Italian meats, cheeses and homemade pasta. Friday at our house is always Maria's Pizza's!
Maria's is the Best! Everyone in the area knows Maria. The service is fast, the food is fresh and the staff is friendly. I worked at Maria's for several years and everything is made with fresh ingredients. Their lasagna, stromboli, pizza rolls, and Italian bread are all made fresh daily with authentic Italian care. I have yet to find a cannoli that can measure up to theirs. Unbelievable! I often use them for corporate and family catering and the response I get from my customers and family is always positive. Always on time, always hot, always fresh. If you haven't been to this neighborhood treasure, you're missing out on some of the best homemade food and service in Metro Detroit!
I recommend Maria's because she has the best homemade cakes, cookies, sandwiches, salads and etc. She is willing and eager to cater your event and make it extra special. She accomodates your wishes and her customer service is out of this world!!!! I won't go anywhere else.
I have used Maria's bakery for years. Everything is so delicious, and what a pleasure it is to have such a friendley staff, you can't find that kind of service today.
