The best cakes, muffins and pasties I have ever tasted. She even has diabetic and glucose free muffins. It is well worth a visit .... over and over and over and over again. She always has something new to try. Her foods are the best in the world!!!!
Mary Denning's cakes have been a part of many, many family celebrations thru out the years. It's the most enjoyable part of each event. You can always count on Mary to come up with the most clever designs for her cakes. They are always admired and so pretty to look at -it's hard to cut and enjoy!
I am a "cake snob" - only truly enjoying very good cakes. I find them at Mary Denning Cake Shoppe. I was there today for brownies and now they offer a "Shot" of cake frosting. I told her it should be called a "Shot of Heaven"
The birthday cake that my husband bought for my birthday was the best I have ever had - Chocolate with mint buttercream bumpy cake. I was told they will make it in peanut butter, too.
Her cakes are delicious, moist, and it seems always made with good fresh ingredients.
They're always beautifully decorated with to die for buttercream frosting. Like many businesses in the community they've had a hard time lately & have had to give up the gift shop side of the business to reduce costs. It seems they have, however, managed to maintain the quality of their bakery products.

This place is great. I 've had cakes made from Mary's for years. My wedding cake for example was beautiful and tasted great. The top layer was carrot cake and the second layer was chocolate. My family also shops here. It's a familly tradition. If it's for and important occasion or just a muffin and coffee I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Mary Dennings is the ONLY bakery I ever go to! They have the best cakes, cookies, muffins and dessert bars....perfect for any occassion! They have my vote and the solution to all my sweet tooth needs!
