Meadow Brook Theatre

Category: Theater (28 listings)

Founded on Oakland University's campus in 1967, Meadow Brook Theatre has grown into Michigan's largest non-profit producing professional theatre. Due to massive state arts funding cuts and necessary tuition increases, the University's Board of Trustees was faced with the decision of closing the doors to this prestigious cultural institution or leasing it to a commercial producer in the spring of 2003.

They have an excellent variety of shows annually. The ticket prices are very reasonable. The staff is always accommodating when scheduling conflicts arise.

The "best" small stage professional production house in Michigan. Hard working cast and crew continually develop a worthy seasonal line-up. Season package reasonably priced with a nice mix of comedy, musicals, and drama. Establishment is nestled among area restaurants offering a great evening out. What are you waiting for?
