Merchant's Fine Wine was founded in 1994 and has since been recognized as Michigan's leading expert in wine, beer and gourmet foods. To date Merchant's remains driven to provide the best selection, service and advice to our customers. We have earned a fabulous reputation from being able to find that "hard to get item," to offering a wide variety of unique gourmet products and deli services.

Merchant's has such a wonderful selection ... from wine, beer, gourmet foods, even the deli and cheese counter is fantastic. They have prices that put those corporate bulk stores to shame and are truly a resource for special occasions and daily staples alike (seriously: great chocolate, chips, oils, tea, olives, coffee ... just check it out already). Staff is always willing to steer you in the right direction and will go out of their way to recommend the best choices for any budget. Also: don't worry about the parking lot tolls, they even cover those!

I go to Merchant's any time that I am looking for the right wine for a dish. John Jonna and Jason Kugel always help you find a good wine for your particular taste. Merchants also have a great selection of wines from around the world.

I loved Merchant's. The selection for wine and beer can't be beat. The Merchant's staff members are always very helpful, and they really know their stuff. This is one of my favorite places to shop, especially for Christmas and birthdays. The Merchant's baskets always make great gifts.

Knowledgable staff and a huge selection of beer and wine. If they don't have it, they will order it for you! The deli and grocery is also fabulous - good coffee, lots of cheese, and plenty of good ready made foods.

In addition to being a great international grocer, they also have the absolute best selection of wine and keg beer in the entire state.
