Sampled chili @ eastern market, than went to Mudgie's. where we had lunch. Everything was fresh & really good. The coffee is the best. But the chili was the best I've ever had. Waitress was really friendly!!! Dennis G.

Absolute best service in Detroit. I go there for lunch weekly, and ALWAYS order the special, no matter how "out there" it sounds! I am always more than pleased. I love to bring out-of-towners to this Detroit original - makes me proud to be a Detroiter!

First of all because they use fresh, homemade ingredients, a big plus for me. Secondly, they are innovative and creative with a gourmet vibe.

Great food and great customer service. It's not unusual to meet the owner while he's visiting your table asking if you'd like to sample a new food item. It's worth the trip to Corktown if you haven't made it yet.
