I had my wedding and reception here and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff was excellent. In between the ceremony and reception, the staff allowed my guests to tour the exhibits at the museum and for the past 2 years...it's been the talk among my friends and family.

Great Museum full of wealthy history. I also appreciate going there as it was designed by famed black architect and native Detroiter Harold Varner!!!

Amazing! Awe-inspiring! Educational! The museum has become a yearly visit for our summer youth program for students K-8 grade, and the children talk about the trip weeks and months later. I'm looking forward to my church group arranging a tour later this year.

I, along with my children, went on a guided tour and I absolutely enjoyed it. Being an African American and growing up in a predominately white enviornment, We found the tour and the guides to be very informative and very interesting. I have recommended that all my friends, along with their children, take the tour as well. Thanks for the experience.

I love the AA museum. The exhibits are always timely, interesting, and a reflection of the Black community. I wish every city had a gem like this.
