Tot is a great guy and a wonderful chef. He will do whatever necessary to keep you happy. He knows the difference between vegetarian and vegan. His restaurant is very family friendly. He even cuts the vegetable sushi extra small for my 5 year old.

Once my wife and I were taking turns walking with our fidgety newborn. Tot saw what was happening and bounced our baby so we could eat.

Great food, great place!

My wife and I were stopped at the light looked over saw the Nippon Grille and decided to try it. We were greeted like we were old friends. That was over 3 years ago now we are old friends and go at least once per week. A great find. Wonderful food, this is a must try.

Tot, the owner is awesome! He remembers your name and what you like :-)
Tot will prepare your meal to satisfy your taste buds.
He added the House Of Yoga Roll to the menu for our vegetarian yoga students (with seaweed salad on top - it is instant bliss!) Try Mango sherbet (with some chocolate syrup on top, for that special occasion....ahhhhhhhh We love you Tot!!!

We just found this place today while driving up 12 Mile! The service was fantastic, the place is just beautiful, and so cozy! I love that we could hold a conversation with the chef without even having to raise our voices. He was super nice. The prices are surprisingly great and the menu is as well. Its definitely my new favorite.

A great experience. Been going since they first opened, and keep coming back.
Some of the freshest Sushi in town, and reasonably priced. A great atmosphere,
and a family friendly environment. Tot and Lisa are great hosts, and have a wonderful family as well. Highly recommended.

My husband and I loved this place. The sushi and main dish were delicious. The tempura was amazing! It's low-key and laid-back. The owners, Tot and Lisa, are personable and genuinely concerned about your satisfaction, hard to find these days. Definitely a family-friendly restaurant, the owner's kids practically live there. Give it a try, it's our new favorite best kept sushi secret.
