The Pure Barre Technique (PBT) might just be the magic potion you've been looking for. PBT fuses Lotte Berk exercises, dance, and Pilates to create the most intense and effective 55-minute workout there is. Pure Barre is owned by former dancer and choreographer Carrie Rezabek, who first opened a Pilates and ballet barre studio in Birmingham, MI in 2001. In 2003, Carrie trained and licensed in New York City at the Lotte Berk studio and brought the Method back to Michigan. She later revamped and refined the Lotte Berk program, resulting in the Pure Barre Technique. There are now 8 locations nation-wide.
Class size is limited; so you feel as if you have your own personal trainer.
The class is difficult but not impossible
I also have seen immediate results.
I started before a trip to the Caribbean. After 6 sessions I had lost 2 inches off my waist, then a few weeks later I had lost an additional 2 inches. People at work have really noticed the change. The workouts are challenging, but the staff is wonderful and the results make it worth it.
After having 3 children Pure Barre was the only workout that helped. The results are outstanding and the atmosphere is rejuvenating. Pure Barre is the only way to go.
