Other than the Schuburger from Schubergs in Big Rapids, Redcoat Tavern has got to be the best burger in the state. Anyone that has gone to Ferris State University knows what I mean,because in all reality if you have never eaten a Schuburger than you probably were really never went to Ferris. Redcoat delivers time and time again. I have been to Millers and the like and they are decent at best. Redcoat is Detroit at its finest.PHI PHI

Just the Best Ever!!! The sauce sure has something to do with it, but when I have out of town company they always want to go there for the burger!!!!

The delicate mixture of ingredients and the variety of options, combined with the exacting method of preparation makes this the best burger in the Detroit metropolitan area. Plus, it tastes good.

I love a good burger and Redcoat is the best in Detroit. Anyone who has been there will tell you this. People wait over 1.5 hours just to eat one here! Luckily you can call ahead and get your name on the list. It is so good that the place is packet all the time, but definately worth the wait! I recommend having a few beers across the street at Dugin's while waiting.

Best burger in Detroit, hands down. Phenomenal beer selection. They lose 1 star only because they need a bigger location and need to be open on Sunday.

Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!! I can't talk while I am enjoying this best burger ever. Beer list is an added bonus.
