Richard is fantastic! The guys there went out of their way to fix my car for me. They did an amazing job and even sent me and my kids home with something to eat. :) They are very genuine and honest people there.

Shelby Tire has experienced mechanics who have worked on and know the history of many vehicles. I went in there and got an oil change and told them about a suspicious sound from my front passenger tire. They checked in out and put my mind to ease. The owner is very honest man who is so friendly to talk to. I also mentioned that we bought our son a used car and he told me things to look out for with the make of car that we now owned. He said to bring it in and He will show my son. I couldn't believe that he even cared. This place is a diamond in the rough. Check it out.

Shelby Tire has serviced my vehicles since 1989. I trust them. There are only two places I go to service my cars: Shelby Tire, and a personal friend I've known for years who is a licensed mechanic. Richard Howell and his team have consistently been knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating.They provide excellent service & pricing, and they have a great attitude. I never worry that I have been 'taken' by a mechanic who merely wanted my money. They have always provided me with good advice and estimates, and as the occasion warranted it, they have told me that my vehicle required only a simple fix, which they would often do for free or for a nominal cost. I regularly recommend Shelby Tire to my friends and contacts who are looking for a good mechanic, or a fair place to get their vehcile repaired. Richard and Shelby Tire have always provided me with excellent service and professionally done repairs. I highly recommend them.

We found Shelby Tire upon returning to Michigan in 1991. Truly helpful, fair and honest. When we bought our home in 1997, selection criteria were (1) close to work (2) close to church (3) good schools (4) close to Shelby Tire. Sinc then we've changed churches, changed jobs, kids have graduated, but Shelby Tire is STILL the only place we trust for servicing our vehicles.

I am 61 years old, grew up in inner city Detroit, & I'm a veteran of Viet Nam, Cambodia & Laos. In all my life I have never met a more honest crew. In all the years and all my cars (& that's quite a few) they have never padded their bill. If questionable, they will discuss it with you & if it doesn't need it, they tell you. I will not go anywhere else & neither will my family.

My car is always serviced on the day I call regardless of how busy they are. As a single female , it is very hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I know that when I take my car in, it will fixed as reasonably as possible. Shelby tire was recommended to me two years ago and I have gone to them for all my car repair needs and servicing ever since. I would highly recommed Shelby Tired for any auto repair/servicing needs.

Absolutely the most honest and fair automotive repair facility I've ever been to. The staff is excellent! The service is outstanding! They never try to sell you something you don't need, and explain your options so you can decide what's best for you. They don't try to sell you those "Extended Warranties" either. If something does happen to go wrong, they stand by their products and services without question. They've been there for over 20 years and I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else!
