Very nice place. Very expensive and takes a very long time because there is so many people in the place. Way over booked and chaotic. Corey is the best stylist ever!!! If the place wasnt sooooo expensive and packed I would of kept going there!!!

This place is great!!!! Go get your hair done & after walk the town. Tracey Tate cuts my hair, she is a keeeeeeper!!!! Thanks for always doing such a great job... i will always go to 6!!!!!

The best place to get a haircut! I drive 45 minutes to get to Six Salon in Royal Oak, and it is well worth the drive. The energetic staff, the lively atmosphere and the fun late night Thursdays make for a geat salon!

Even after moves to NYC and Dallas, I still travel back to Michigan to get my hair cut at 6. George, Heidi and the entire staff are absolutely the best!! They treat everyone like family, and I've never left the salon feeling anything but beautiful. I couldn't give a salon or a stylist a higher recommendation! They are truly the best at what they do!

I have been getting my hair done at 6 for 2 years by Brittani. I am a natural brunette, and had been trying out different salons to highlight my hair blonde. Needless to say, when I went to Brittani, my hair was very dry and damaged. She has taken her time to get my hair healthy, and to always give me ideas for the newest, trendiest hair styles. I don't know what I'd do without her! I have read some of the other reviews, that say the staff is snoby. I can agree to some extent as far as some of the other workers, but Brittani is a top notch stylest with a great personality.

Not recommended. My stylist did what they wanted, NOT what I wanted. I paid a fortune, they tried selling me hundreds of dollars worth of product that I kept declining. Very pushy, and snobby.

I've been a customer for years and they're great! Up on all of the latest trends. So many of their stylist win the "Hairdresser of the Year" award for Michigan. Its the biggest award in hairdressing. Go see Tracey Tate (Lipscomb)!
