Our movies come from all over the world. Some have subtitles, some are black and white all most all are independent films. The films here are remarkable because they are more than just entertainment, they have substance. Not all are great though (of course that is a matter of opinion), but most have depth, wit and unpredictability that is unmatched by the mainstream. We also get the occasional crossover success, like Napoleon Dynamite, Good Night and Good Luck, The Devil Wears Prada and so on.

The State has the best popcorn, and it doesn't need butter! The variation in movies is great and there are no better Saturday Midnight movies than the State's!
