After many years in the music business, playing with popular local and national acts, the As Is Band is the most entertaining party band in the Midwest. The As Is Band are a six-piece, horn-driven show-band based in the Metro Detroit area, Michigan USA. This top-notch band plays everything from Motown classics, Funk, Swing, Big-Band, Classic Rock, Country and Jazz. The As Is Band has been one of the more popular groups in the Detroit area. In addition to performing as a headliner, band members have backed up such artists as The Drifters, The Four Tops, Temptations, Diana Ross, J.J. Jackson, The OJays, Mitch Ryder, Bob Seger, Eric Clapton and with Richard Marx at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Members have performed at Carnegie Hall, the Montreaux Jazz Festivals in Detroit and Switzerland and Greenfield Village. All Six members handle the vocal arrangements.

I saw them play at the Sterling Heights festival and was amazed by their peformance. Not only did they involve the crowd when they performed, they also sounded excellent in every aspect.
They where alsome plus I could listen to the guys play all day long. They are really friendly if someone ask them something they will answer with no problem.
The As Is Band is composed of energetic, enthusiastic, technically superb musicians, most of whom teach band and then recreate by performing together. Every time you hear them, their enjoyment is contagious! It's always a fun experience.
The As Is Band has the musicality, technicality, phrasing, connection; not only between themselves but with their audience and great stage presence. If you want a band for you wedding/bar/bahmitzvah/party. They have very great prices. These are the guys to get. Hands down.
