There is nothing else in the nation that comes close to the Henry Ford! There is someting for everyone here. I'm always grateful Henry Ford had the foresight to consider such a great place for future generations.

There is always something fun to do, even if you don't have a lot of time. I love the holiday events in the village. I became a member because no matter the weather you have something you can do. There is the museum, the Imax and the village. I have become addicted to the Imax.

The granddaddy of all museums in the tri-county area, bringing together- under one roof & outdoor extravaganza- everything else and then some, that everyone else forgot to do.

Clean facility
Plays are awesome
The baseball team is neat and fun to watch in the summer
The working farms are amazing
The Cotswald Cottage outdoor tea is relaxing
Tons of kids educational programs-classes as well as adult ones
Seasonal indoor/outdoor festivities
A flashback in time that you can physically participate in and re-live (riding in the cars, making candles, sleigh rides! train rides.)
Good ol', old-fashioned demonstrations of a wide variety.
(glass blowing - very cool, pottery makers, blacksmith, the dying of the wool in the fall.)
OOOOOH....
Need I say more?

The history. The working farm is great for children who have never had that experience. The many activities the Henry Ford has, educational, fun a learning experience. A wonderful place for families.

We have been members for many years.
The only rival on the planet it has, as far as I'm concerned is the Smithsonian in D.C.
