The Pantry Restaurant & Deli was founded by Joe and three friends of the family in 1978. The original partners later sold out to Joe and family. The owners and staff are proud of their long tradition of culinary excellence and personal involvement in every facet of the business, and that tradition inspires their loyal patrons. Their breakfast menu is particularly special, and on weekends, long lines wait for the opportunity to order their renowned fresh fruit crepes and “out-of-this-world” baked apple pancakes, that resemble small deep-dish pizzas. Pile some real whipped cream on these gourmet treats and you will experience perfection. The Pantry is located on Van Dyke between 14 and 15 mile and is only open for breakfast and lunch. Don't forget to visit their other location at 39 N. Main in Mt. Clemens. (the pancakes can be taken out for a super home treat as well.)

It has the best strawberry crepes! Also I don't know what they do to their scrambled eggs, but they melt in your mouth and yes they are scrambled! Buttermilk pancakes with the bacon, perfect. Service awesome, price even better because you can't find a place like this anywhere, anymore:)

This restaurant has the biggest breakfast menu and everything is soooo delicious. Along with the great food - I would have to say the reason I love this restaurant is because of the enormous selection of breakfast foods!

Everything is home made with LOVE! Usually a person likes one or two things at each place they go to. When you go to the Pantry you are safe with anything you pick. IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!

I have tried a LOT, and I mean a LOT of breakfast places in the tri-county area and I found the Pantry Restaurant to have the better tasting food, more polite staff and a better enviroment. You have to try it yourself to see the difference it will make in your taste buds.

Do you have a couple of hours? The Pantry Restaurant is God's gift to the universe. I'm serious! A former co-worker (we're both retired) and I have breakfast every other Saturday. She knows that when it's her turn to pay and treat me to breakfast, we head for Sterling Heights to the best restaurant in the universe. Everything I have eaten is super-duper good, but I can't seem to move away from their Cheese and Broccoli omelet. I usually get an order of turkey sausage in the omelet - OMG!! The food is so-o-o delicious and the service is absolutely fantastic. We are made to feel like family and their wait staff treat us as if we're the only customers in the restaurant. Well, I think I've expressed how I feel without taking a couple of hours. Oh yes, I just turned 65 on August 18th, but when we walk in, Lisa (one of the owners) says, "Hello girls." Talking about making my day. I'm at home at The Pantry, I'm made to feel special at The Pantry; and please believe it, others are treated just as well. What an achievement!
