My family and I have been eating here for years! We find ourselves comparing other Mexican restaurants to Tijuanas and no others compare. I remember when they had a place in Detroit. Great Great Great. Do yourself a favor and try them, you won't be disappointed.
The management and staff are the best; friendly and accomodating. Also, the salsa is very flavorful-alot of the time I just pick up the salsa to take home. The mexican sandwich is great too.
I don't live in MI, but when a dear friend of mine has special events, they always cater and it is so YUMMY. She told me this voting was going on so I voted.
We fell in love with Tijuana's salsa and corn tortilla chips when they were in Dearborn! Deep fried and salted just so, and the salsa is the freshest around! Add to that, Tijuana's has the BEST spanish rice of any local Mexican restaurant!! It's always tender and flavored with simple Mexican seasonings instead of the usual tomato-drenched rice found elsewhere! Finally, the entrees taste as though they've been prepared in a family kitchen--so much care and concern of the blending of flavors and presentation makes us keep coming back for more!!! We were SO happy to find Tijuana's again!
Tijuana's is the best Mexican restaurant i have ever ate at, Service is impeccable, Food is delicious and Fresh, And the people that work there are Amazing.
Everything tastes great ALL the time. Especially the salsa and the enchiladas. You can't beat the prices especially for the specials listed on the billboard outside. I love that they are on restaurant.com now - even better values! Finally, I love the fact that it is woman owned and run by several generations - go ladies! I eat there to ensure they make it thru the difficult economy - everyone should be wise in their choices and support our local businesses instead of chains. Thank you for yum! Also, the catering is great for parties!
It is a family owned business that cares about the customers. The atmosphere is warm and friendly! The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. I have been there many times.
Some of the best authentic Mexican food you can find in the Detroit area. Their food is high quality and made with fresh ingredients. The staff is always cheerful and accommodating. They have dine-in and carryout available. Besides their salsa is the best in town. For those that like their salsa a bit hotter, they have no problem kicking it up a degree or two on request. I routinely bypass all the downtown restaurants to stop for dinner at Tijuana’s Mexican Kitchen.
