Trainers Academy is absolutely wonderful! The staff is so patient and helpful- that I even had a good time at puppy class. My puppy couldn't get enough and needless to say he has matured into a very obedient dog! I work at a veterinary hospital and highly reccomend that our clients/patients go and check out Trainers Academy. I think that besides learning obedience, agility, etc. the entire experience proves to be a great bonding experience for mommy's/daddy's and their pets. My experience with Trainer's Academy has been the very best. From Greyhounds only up to the Advanced class, plus Doggie Day Care and the Good Citizen's Award. Daisy does it all.

I needed help and read about the positive reinforcement clicker training. That was the beginning of a fun and enriching relationship with my dog. More importantly, I was so impressed with the training and Lisa (the owner) that today I am an assistant at the Academy. It is amazing to watch dogs develop into the well behaved companions owners were hoping to have.
An awesome and fun training experience! I can tell the difference between my younger dogs who went through this training program and my older dog that went elsewhere. The younger dogs think more and enjoy learning new behaviors! It is nice to see puppies enjoy learing and working. Classes are offered up to advanced. How much fun!!!!!
Trainers Academy uses an innovative and HAPPY approach to training. My dogs are relaxed and confident in their world. The old methods of training just aren't as good. My dogs have learned 'how to learn.' Clickers instead of choke collars!!!! Treats instead of trauma!!!! I had fun. My dogs had fun. Most importantly, I have two LARGE dogs that I can walk together on loose leases. I have two dogs who are well mannered. I have two dogs I can take anywhere...Thanks Trainers Academy!!!!
By far the BEST dog training I have experienced. I had tried several other schools/philosophies and none came close to what Lisa and her fellow teachers are able to do.
The techniques are based in evidence and research. Never are there any techniques used whichinvolve punishment - only positive reinforcement. I would highly recommend this school.
My experience at Trainers Academy has been exceptional from day one. I started with puppy class than I took intermediate class. I fell in love with Lisa and her staff. Their energy and enthusiasm was contagious. Positive Reinforcement training was so easy to learn and extremely enjoyable for my dog. Dogs of any age can learn by this method. I have tried other schools which didn't practice Positive Reinforcement training and had short lived success. Trainers truly cares about the wellbeing of all dogs and they work tirelessly to educate us humans to be better owners. My dog can't wait to get to daycare to play with all her friends. I was not much of a believer in training until Trainer's Academy came into my life. I have a foster greyhound in my home who went to he** and back in a home he was adopted into. So much so, that he came out of there with extreme fear issues with other greyhounds. He came into my care on Jan 4 of this year. He was extremely aggressive towards other greys who just made eye contact with him at meet and greets. He recently graduated his 2nd Greyhounds-Only class at Trainer's Academy and has regained so much confidence that now he makes eye contact and when he's had enough, he walks away. He is a happier greyhound and is showing many signs that he wants to be sociable with other greys. We can now attend meet and greets without fear that he will terrorize the others there. Trainer's Academy has given my foster his life back!!! I can't thank them enough ... they are aboslutely the BEST ... period.
I wouldn't take my puppies any place else. The staff is great. The training is positive reinforment and never punishes harshlly. There are time outs and crate time but relies on make training fun for you and you dog. I have had three puppies go into the progam truly a believer in their methods. Two of my puppies are Terriers and loved the classes and still love to do the training. There are discussions in class for problems to nip bad behaviors in the bud. Great staff . Socialization is for dogs is a wonderful part of the program. I can not say enought about this program and the great results we have had from the program

I'm involved in rescue work and have attended classes at Trainers Academy with 7 different foster dogs over the last 4 years. And let me tell you, they are FANTASTIC! You can tell that the staff really cares about the dogs and love what they do. They are VERY knowledgeable about dog behavior and train using scientifically proven methods, not fly by night information from the lastest trends or television shows. My involvement with dog training started back in 1970. I've seen the worst of trainers and thanks to Trainers Academy I've finally seen the best in trainers. This group always puts the dogs first and finds a way to help adoption groups succeed with problem dogs.

Not only are we unique because we ARE NOT an open run daycare like the designer daycares popping up everywhere. But our staff are all highly trained. They know what they're doing and they do it well. From our exceptional Instructors & Trainers to our daycare staff, you won't find anyone that isn't happy and willing to help.
I could not imagine working anywhere else...and the best part is...I get to bring my dog/s to work with me every day. What could be better than being around dogs all day?

What a great place! The love they have for the dogs is amazing. I love their classes... I learned so much and we had a great time. I also use their daycare and what a difference in my dog's energy level. I feel really good leaving my dog there too. I know he is getting the best care possible.
