Trainers Academy, LLC offers dog training & day care in Metro Detroit. Our services include classes, in-home training, behavioral counseling and day care for socialization and exercise. The entire staff of the Trainers Academy does a wonderful job of training dog owners in positive and successful behavior management principles. A happy and well behaved dog makes for happy owner!
The staff at Trainers Academy are truly amazing. They use positive reinforcement methods which make training fun for both ends of the leash: the 4 legged end and the 2 legged end

Other dog day cares told me my dog was aggressive, and told me there was nothing I could do. Trainers Academy told me that they were trying to play him with too many dogs and he was sinply overwhelmed. They started slowly introducing him to playmates and there has not been any issues. It's amazing what can be done when your staff actually knows what they're talking about. Thanks girls.
Thay have saved many a dog/puppy from being abandoned or euthanized! The care it takes and the kindhearted compassion they show is crucial to keeping all pets safe, cared for and loved!
Classes offered are exceptional. They taught both my dogs to THINK their way through life, not just react to a "correction". These are not the first dogs I have trained so I really noticed a difference in their response. One now has an obedience title with UKC, the other has his conformation Championship with UKC and now we will work on obedience. What a GREAT foundation Trainers gave us. One dog started as a youngster with trainers and the other as a puppy. All future dogs of ours will attend Trainers Academy classes for a happy life. THANKS TRAINERS!!!!!
This is the best place we've ever taken our dogs! They are absolutely fabulous and exactly what we were looking for - educated and friendly staff who really care about our animals as if they were their own.
The staff is knowledgeable, professional, experienced and offers the best techniques for training people and their pets. They offer a "repeat" Intermediate class free which I took advantage of. It's just the greatest place to take your dog for training. FIVE STARS

I came to Trainers Academy with a greyhound who had fear aggression with other greyhounds. We attended 2 6-week sessions in their Greyhounds-ONLY class. At the end we were able to actually attend a greyhound function and my greyhound was crowned "king" of that function because of all the accomplishments he had made. That never would have happened without Trainers Academy's help!
Both my dogs have been thru training there. My puppy goes to daycare there once a week - to help with socialization. They truly love what they do and are always there for support when it's needed. I would recommend them to anyone!
Lisa is the best. She knows her stuff. We trained with her and I would reccommend her to anyone. She teaches you how your dog thinks, you will get amazing results. She also referred me to Animal Advocates Vet in Troy, they are wonderful caring doctors.
