Best reconstruction of local life in the 1800's. Blows my mind to think that people educated in the one room school house engineered the cars, communication systems, and built the businesses we have today.

I grew up about a 1/2 mile from the museum, and it is a great place to learn about the history of the area, and it is truly a living history museum, which makes learning more fun.

Troy Museum & Historic Village is a gem. Not too big; not too small. Always improving. I am a 44 year Troy resident.
