Underground Dance Company wishes to provide a unique opportunity for dancers of all ages to train in the art of dance whether the student participates for their recreation, self confidence or is seeking serious training to advance in the world of dance. For the serious dancer Underground Dance Company will provide opportunities to travel to such cities as Chicago, New York, and LA.And learn from top choreographers at the top studios around the country. Ms.Shannon is very talented and brings out the best in her students with cutting edge style and unique costumes. In addition to her great choreography, Ms. Pam keeps everything running smoothly. My daughters dance at UDC. They took advantage of free Saturday classes in the summer and were hooked. Now my youngest is part of the Competition Team. Miss Pam and Miss Shannon have created a positive atmosphere for learning and improving the skills of their dancers. It's about always doing your personal best. What's not to like about that?

What a studio!!!!!! Pam and Shannon are wonderfull teachers and role models for my kids. I feel very lucky to have them in our lives. Your not just a customer there, you are part of a family. The kids treat each other with respect, cheer each other on and support everyone. The kids went to Nationals this year and were told to just dance like Pam and Shannon knew they could...and they did.... NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, TOP STUDIO, TOP TECHNIQUE AND GRAND NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!! CONGRATS UDC WE ARE PROUD OF ALL OF YOU!!!!!!! Thank you Pam and Shannon you gave so much to my kids this year. I'M SO PROUD TO SAY MY KIDS DANCE AT UNDERGROUND DANCE COMPANY. Dance is about more than just winning at competitions. At UDC they teach that lesson. I vote for this studio because I believe in UDC. If you are looking for a studio for your children, come to Underground, you will not be disappointed!!!!!
I would recommend this studio to anyone!!! They have some greatd dances and their sportsmanship and respect towards other studios is great compared to other studios that I have witnessed. Its something I would want my children to learn!!!
UDC is an amazing place to dance. There its not all about wining. Its about reaching for your dreams and growing as a person. The teachers are all very nice and understanding. The teachers are all very helpful. The grils there are very nice to each other and are like sisters. I love UDC with all my heart. Its the best studio ever!!!!!! XOXO
this was my first year at underground and i love it everyone is so nice and they make u fee like ur part of a family i love Shannon and Mrs. Pam the owners i love underground.
Underground is a place where dancers can express themselves while also learning and growing as dancers. Underground teaches you to dance from your heart and soul, its not just about the steps its what you do with them.
Don't know where to begin. There is so much to be grateful to The entire Debussher Family. Shannon has created an amazing Dance Studio that offers ALL of its dancers an opportunity to learn and grow. My daughter came to Underground in its first year and cannot imagine being anywhere else. Their family atmosphere is amazing and unique. The dances are not focused on just a few individuals, but on the entire group. Everyone gets their moment to shine.
Where do i begin?! It is my daughters first year at UDC after dancing at the same studio for 8 years. Moving was the hardest but best decision we ever made. They learned so much it was amazing. Everyone gets a chance in the spotlight not just the same people over & over. Miss Shannon and Miss Pam are amazing at not only teaching, but giving guidence on how to be the best you can be. Miss Shannon's choreography is like nothing you have ever seen before. The dancers were so welcoming and supportive. No divas at this studio. They love and respect each other, just like a family. I definately vote UDC the BEST studio in Detroit!
This was my daughter's first year at Underground, and she absolutely LOVED it!!! It used to be a fight to get her to go to her previous studio, but here she has tons of fun and feels comfortable in this very warm and exciting environment! Ms. Shannon and the girls at Underground definitely share a passion for dance and it shows everytime they hit the stage....keep up the good work ladies:)
I would all the way recommend Underground Dance Company for best studio. I started dancing here last year and i have loved every minute of it. From the first day i walked through the doors, everyone was nice and inviting. Here, we always cheer on everyone and give them the support they need. We all just like to have fun and enjoy dance. i love all of you girls, your amazing. U-D-UDC WHAT?!
