Underground Dance Company wishes to provide a unique opportunity for dancers of all ages to train in the art of dance whether the student participates for their recreation, self confidence or is seeking serious training to advance in the world of dance. I would all the way recommend Underground Dance Company for best studio. I started dancing here last year and i have loved every minute of it. From the first day i walked through the doors, everyone was nice and inviting. Here, we always cheer on everyone and give them the support they need. We all just like to have fun and enjoy dance. i love all of you girls, your amazing. U-D-UDC WHAT?!
This is my first year with Underground Dance Co. And never in my 13 years of dancing have i felt so welcome and happy to be dancing in a place where you are inspired, I truly have learned soo much from Pam and Shannon in just one year. I would recommend anyone who wants to pursue dance as a profession to this studio.These dancers have the most respect for other studios, at competition we cheer on everyone, its not always about winning with us, its about telling every person out there, that we are Underground Dance Company and we have a story to tell. I love you girls your all amazing and talented dancers, its been great working with all of you this year. WORK UDC!
I would have to say underground is the best place. Everyone is very supportive to everyone. Everyone works hard, and it pays off. Shannon and Pam are amazing and wonderful role models to every girl at the studio. And I know for a fact every girl that walks through that door enjoys coming there all the time. I am so happy that I dance here.
This is my first year at Underground. Being 16 and moving to a new studio was hard. I figured everyone would already have their friends and i would be alone. It was total the opposite. my first day they welcomed me with open arms, literally! As the year went on the girls i danced with grew to be sisters. I've never been so close with a group of girls in my life. team sleep overs and even holiday parties became a regular. At our first competition they showed so much respect it was amazing. i can truthfully say i've never seen that before in a studio. we clapped for every other studio that won. it was a nice feeling because they clapped back also. Shannon is an amazing teacher. she has some of the craziest ideas but her dances look amazing and she pushed us her student to be even better. her fellow teachers are just as good. and miss Pam, well she's just the wonderful miss Pam. i don't think you can find a better mother daughter team. they work so hard together and everyone supports everyone else. i love dancing at UDC and when i have little babies one day i guarantee they will be dancing at underground!!!! i vote underground the best studio in Detroit!
Shannon is an amazing choreographer and dancer. She has worked so hard for her entire life to make this dream come true, and it has. She deserves this as well as ALL of the amazing dancers that dance at her studio. Shannon and Ms. Pam you ROCK!!!!
WE ARE NEW AT UDC! PAM AND SHANNON ARE AWESOME AND THE TEAM HAS WELCOMED US
WARMLY. WE ARE MOST IMPRESSED BY THE FACT THAT TEAM SEEMS TO LOVE AND RESPECT SHANNON AND PAM AND EACH OTHER. THEY ARE A HARD WORKING GROUP AND HAVE WON AMAZING AWARDS FOR THEIR HARD WORK. I FEEL THAT WE HAVE FOUND THE BEST DANCE STUDIO AROUND FOR MY DANCERS TO GROW UP IN. THERE ARE ALOT OF DANCE STUDIOS AROUND BUT UDC IS DIFFERENT. IT'S A GREAT ENVIRONMENT TO LEARN AND ENJOY DANCE AND THE OPPORTUNITIES ARE ENDLESS.
I would NOT recommend this studio to anyone!!! They may have some good dances but their sportsmanship and respect towards other studios are horrible. Its something I would never want my children to learn!!!
Hmm, where to start.... I have been dancing since I could walk. Most of my 16 years of dance were spent at the very same studio that Shannon DeBusscher danced at, and Mrs. Pam taught at. I grew up watching Shannon dance, and I have been inspired by her since day one. When Shannon left to open her own studio, I went with her. I feel truly blessed that I got the opportunity to move on and learn from Shannon. I graduated last year, but wasn't ready to give up dancing.... So, I danced this past year as well. I have never in my years of dancing been so inspired to reach for my dreams. It has truly been an honor to dance with such wonderful people, and to train from such amazing role models. I don't know what I am going to do without dancing, but I hope to still be around the studio.
Bottom Line- I had never experienced the LOVE of dance until I came to Underground. Shannon and Pam aren't all about winning, they are about making EACH AND EVERY student the very best they can be. I strongly recommend Underground for anyone who wants to grow as a dancer!!
i dance here at UDC and i have loved every minute of it. here, everyone is treated the same and everyone gets a chance to try everything before they chose people. at my old studio they only focsed on certin kids but not here at UDC. Ms. Shannon and Mrs. Pam are amazing teachers. i love everyone here at UDC.
After leaving a much bigger studio in Macomb County, and coming to dance here last fall, we were so excited. Ms. Pam And Ms. Shannon are wonderful teachers that treat all the girls the same. They teach them to respect others, and each other. I believe the dancers have learned so much here, as in others studios, they focus on certain kids, and it's not like it here. I am so happy we switched. If you want you child to dance in a happy, and wonderful place, dance here!
One of the newest, yet most most popular dance studios in the metro Detroit area! The award-winning coreography of Miss Shannon and the other teachers is incredible. Truly a positive environment for the students!
after spending 13 years at a bigger studio in the area i'm glad after i left for college my sister got the oppurtunity to dance at underground. its one of the up and coming star studios in the area and they are a studio that needs to be watched. we love shannon and pam and have known them for most of our dance careers. thanks for making dance fun and about the girls not how many turns they can do and after watching them and their amazing choreogrpahy i know my sister is the right hands. congrats on all of your success and can't wait till the new season starts.
ok whell this studio is sooooooo creative and it blows over the whole crowd! its my 2th year at udc and i know there will be many more years to come common UDC UDD...wORK
With only two years under their belt, UDC dancers, new & experienced have excelled and it shows in their competitions and recital. Keep up the good work, UDC.
