Salad Creations has great food for vegetarians and their meat-eating friends. There is something about a salad from salad creations that you just can't get anywhere else. They have a great variety so you can make the perfect salad for you.

Orchid has an amazing atmosphere and food to match! There are several selections (don't skip out on the fantastic appetizers) to please everyone, whether you are a vegetarian or a meat-eater, or like your food spicy of mild. This is the kind of place you want to eat at every day.

Hands down, this is the best Mexican food I have ever had. This is REAL Mexican food. If you live in the Detroit area, and have never been here, stop reading this and get down to Xochimico! The chimichangas are to die for, and the desert empanadas and sopapillos are fantastic.

For me, it was a toss-up between voting for National and Hippo's. Not growing up in the Detroit area, I can't believe I was missing National all my life. I never want to move away because I never want to have to deal with an imitation Hani from some OTHER Coney Island.

Sidetrack has a friendly atmosphere and fun decor that really stands out. Their burgers were voted in the Top 10 by GQ magazine and Oprah's BFF loves them. How could you go wrong with that? Don't pass this place up.

Luwak is an awesome, low-key place to go for a sandwich. They have a great variety of stuff there, with coffees, teas, and sides that complement any sandwich. The atmosphere is really friendly and comfortable.

This place is amazing. The staff are friendly and accessible. The store is exceptionally clean and well-kept. I have had two tattoos and a piercing done there. When I had my first tattoo done there, the artist was extremely understanding and walked me through the process without making me feel like a newbie.
