Useful? +1 Thumbs up Thumbs down

After my five years retail management, most of them at the Somerset Collection, I would like to agree that I know customer service. I am very independent, and didn't expect a hand-holding type appointment with Maria's, but I expected SOME service. I scheduled my appointment and had to wait outside the store for over 10 minutes as the salesgirl walked in late and rudely huffed it would be another couple of minutes. After she finally opened the doors, she rudely asked why I was there. I would had expected her to assume I am the 10am appointment she was late for... apparently they aren't very quick there though. As I explained what I was looking for, she continued to interrupt me correcting my terms and was quick to ignore me after I explained I was looking to stay under $1200 if possible. She opened a door to an over packed warm room of bridal gowns and she never talked to me or the 2 bridesmaids for the entire visit. I was quickly annoyed with her poor service and we decided to only get ideas for the bridesmaids. All three of us had large handfuls of dresses and no one assisted. We helped ourselves to the fitting rooms when my bridesmaids tried on over 20 dresses with no assistance what so ever. Forty-five minutes later when the last bridesmaid was out the door, the saleslady stopped her conversation at the register and said goodbye. A month later, my friend's sister called crying when Marias ordered the wrong $4000 dress with the wedding only a month away. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! They are a joke and the poorest service I encountered after visiting 10 other boutiques.
