Great staff. Kids all have a great time and love the glow-bowling around the holidays. The end of the year pizza parties are wonderful. The price is amazing.
Hands down, Woodland Lanes is THE best bowling alley in the entire Metro Detroit area! The staff were extremely friendly, the facility was very clean and updated, and the bowling experience was terrific! Woodland Lanes hosted my son's third birthday party yesterday, and we had a blast! Thank you, to the entire staff at Woodland Lanes for providing our family with a memorable and easy birthday party!! I highly recommend Woodland Lanes over any other bowling alley in Metro Detroit, and I've researched over 20 different bowling alleys before choosing to have the party here! Woodland Lanes has definitely earned the top spot last year, and it shows in the pride that the owners have in their facility.
Woodland lanes has, in my opinion, the best customer service out of all 58 bowling alleys I've ever been to. The people behind the counter, the floor workers, and even the bartenders are all eager to converse with the customers as if they bowled there all the time. The lanes has the best "coast to coast" reaction of any alley I've bowled at. They are the best!
All the staff are friendly, and it is always clean. They have lots of special bowling days with glow N' bowl, music and resonable prices for bowling and food. My son has been on a league there for years and the do a great job with them, having coaches there to help them improve.
This is the best run bowling center in the area. This is a family run business and the owners, Al, Tom, and Gary provide the best customer service. The center is spotless. The machines run great. The bar service is great. They spend a lot of money upgrading the facility and it shows.
Great service at the front desk. Friendly service and very helpful service as well. Excellent lanes that have very few issues with ball return and pinsetters getting stuck. Great food as well as service at the snack bar. Many opportunities to win free games and get great discounts on special days for bowling, such as the Thanksgiving Day Special and a New Year's Day special as well. Free games can be won or given away in league bowling as well as just open bowling.
It is a family run business. Thus, the customers are treated like family! Throughout my 32 year bowling career, there are very few that are run in this manner. By far, they get my vote! A good example, the owners know every league officer by name and engage in conversation every time they see you. It doesn't matter if you are the league president or sargent at arms, you are family.
Most excellent, state-of-the-art facility as well from the disco lights for the glow in bowl to the WIFI access to two bars at your service. Every year the owners reinvest in their building to improve both the structure and the atmosphere.
