Write Impressions has been a presence in downtown Royal Oak for over 15 years. Lori London, owner, established the store in 1989. Since that time, it has doubled in size and continues to expand an ever-growing inventory. The store carries stationery, greeting cards, and gifts for children and adults. Write Impressions also features an in-store printing department specializing in invitations, personalized stationery and calligraphy services.

Write Impressions was recently featured in Lucky Magazine's November 2004 issue. Selected as one of the best places for stationery in Michigan, Lucky highlighted the store for its readers:

I get all my invites at Write Impressions. When friends receive an invite they know it's going to be fun or formal.
They have every style imaginable. When I had a hoe down
the invite had tiny lasso, western boots and bandana...too cute.
