The Clinton River cascades over the Yates dam, which supplies the headwaters to power the mill. The dam was built to contain the Clinton's churning water for the mill. Several varieties of fresh apples are specially blended throughout the season to produce delicious, 100% natural Yates' cider. Yates cider is made without preservatives. However, we now use a "flash pasteurization" process for your added safety, but refrigeration is still required. It is fat-free, sodium-free, cholesterol-free, an excellent source of fiber and contains only 120 calories per 8 oz. serving.

1st place?! You gotta be kidding me! There's not much to do. The cider is see-through. Don't get me wrong, it's ok...but just ok. Helps that there's no admission fee.

i have been going there for years and have tried other places as well and yate's is the only place that has the cinnamon sugar donuts and they have the best cider! i love the walking path too!

I have been going to yates cider mill since my mother was pregnant with me. I have a lot of baby photos there. It has been our families favorite place to go for years, because of the atmosphere and the delicious cider and donuts. Truth be told i hate donuts but i love yates donuts, something about them gives me an aching in my belly to have one all the time. I love Yates!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only does Yates have the BEST Cider around, but their donuts are amazing! I very much dislike donuts, and the ONLY ones I eat are from Yates. We go opening day every year...and most every weekend throughout the fall!

They have a river trail, pony rides every weekend (weather permitting), Frankenmuth fudge and candies, a petting zoo (weather permitting), cider, donuts, ice cream, pies, pocket pies, apple crisp, apples, candy, hot dogs and knackwurst, cinnamon almonds. And I enjoy all of it. I love the trails!! And the cider is the best ever!!!

Olde time atmosphere. Been going there for 65 years. Childhood memoories. Nothing else like it. Classic Cider Mill.
